Description
Shredded Beef Shawarma Flavored Tacos
These SUPER EASY Shredded Beef Shawarma Flavored Tacos with a Middle-Eastern flavor of Shawarma seasonings are blasting with an abundance of flavors and are so yummy! The best part about this taco recipe is the beef because it melts in your mouth and the sauce is out of this world! Especially how it pairs well with my homemade Tahini sauce sprinkled with fresh reddish, onions and cilantro. It hits the spot in so many ways!! I love this recipe so much because you can also create great burritos, quesadillas, and enchiladas along with a Shawarma wrap!

- 3–4 tablespoons Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Toppings

Instructions
- Cut beef, combine your marinated spices, and crushed garlic spread and pat down to allow seasonings to stick to the meat and set in the fridge overnight or for a minimum of 2 hours.
- After marinating, place some oil into your pan and sear your meat until browned on both sides. Sear meat a few at a time and place them on a separate plate during this process. After you sear all your meat, place all of them back into the same pot.
- Add broth and sauce spices and combine together. Cover with lid and place in the oven for 3 hours at 400° and rotate the pot every hour.
- Remove the beef from the sauce and shred the beef. Dunk the corn tortilla into the sauce lightly, place some shredded beef on one side, and fold over the tortilla closed.
- Bake tacos for another 15-20 minutes until tortillas are crispy. Place your toppings on top and enjoy!
Notes
- Using a Dutch oven stone pot works well with this recipe because it retains more heat which makes the cooking process faster and better. Depending on what type of pot you use, the time might vary. After 2 hours make sure to check every 30 minutes thereafter to see if your meat has softened. You will know when your meat is ready when you see it fall apart when touched. If it hasn’t keep it in longer and cook for another 30 minutes or more.
