HOW LONG DOES THIS TAHINI DIP LAST?
To be honest, this sauce didn’t last long in my house, not because it spoiled, but because it was just that good! It disappeared almost as soon as I made it.
When I made a second batch, it stayed fresh for about 2 weeks in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For the best texture, I recommend storing the honey-glazed pine nut crumble separately. Keep the crumble in its own airtight container in the fridge, where it can last for several weeks.

Description
Tahini Dipping Sauce (Galore Golden Sauce)
Creamy Mediterranean Tahini Sauce topped with a honey-glazed pine nut crumble. It’s a flavor combination you never knew you needed! Perfect for dunking just about anything. The balance of creamy, sweet, savory, and crunchy takes every bite to the next level. This one-of-a-kind signature sauce has become a staple in our house. Once you try it, you’ll understand why we always make sure there’s a jar waiting in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mountain High (Low Fat) Yogurt
- 3 tablespoons Tahini Sesame Paste
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dry Cilantro Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Paprika Powder
- 3 cloves Garlic Cloves
Topping
- 1/2 cup raw Pine Nuts
- Light Drizzle Honey
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Aleppo Pepper
- Drizzle of Pomegranate Molasses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread the pine nuts in a single layer on a nonstick baking sheet. Lightly drizzle them with honey, then sprinkle with a small pinch of salt.
- Bake until the honey has caramelized and the pine nuts are deeply golden brown, about 8–12 minutes. Keep a close eye on them during the last few minutes, as pine nuts can burn quickly.
- While the pine nuts are roasting, whisk together the yogurt, tahini, mayonnaise, garlic, and seasonings in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Transfer the sauce to the refrigerator to chill while the pine nuts cool.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the pine nuts cool completely. As the honey hardens, the nuts will stick together. Once cooled, use a spatula to scrape them off the baking sheet, then roughly crumble them into small crunchy pieces.
- Spoon the tahini sauce into a serving bowl, drizzle some pomegranate molasses, then generously top it with the honey-glazed pine nut crumble, and add a pinch of Aleppo Pepper to the center for garnish! Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Recipe Tip: Don’t worry if some of the caramelized pine nuts stick to the baking sheet, that’s completely normal! Simply soak the pan in warm, soapy water for a few minutes, and the hardened honey will come off with little effort. If you prefer even easier cleanup, line your baking sheet with parchment paper before roasting the pine nuts. This might take a few more minutes baking, but it will be an easier cleanup.
